7th Annual Dog Costume Parade

Join us for our annual Dog Costume Parade on Sunday afternoon, October 26 at 1:00! Spectators welcome.

HERE’S HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Dogs are invited to have some Halloween fun in our 7th annual Dog Costume Parade. Dogs (and their people) will gather at 1:00 at Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, 2531 Monroe Street, and parade through Wingra Park before ending by getting a doggie bags of treats at MadCat Pet Supplies, 2701 Monroe Street. Please note that a ticket is required for each dog (limit 40), but not their human companions. Open only to friendly, well-behaved dogs on a leash. All proceeds will go to the Dane County Humane Society. Tickets are $15 and are now available via Eventbrite.

Free face painting AT the Dog Costume Parade!

Participants and spectators are welcome to get a dog, cat or other design by Kinga of Radiant Smiles Face Painting starting from 12:30 to 1:30 on October 26. She’ll be at Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream as the costumed dogs arrive.

TRICK OR TREAT ON MONROE STREET

Trick or Treat on Monroe Street will take place on October 25 and 26, 2025. Participating businesses with treats for kids in costume (while supplies last) will have a Treat Stop sign in their window.
